Playstation
3 - Yellow light of death
- LED goes green, flashes yellow, then blinks red
- You
see a yellow light on the front of your PS3
- There
is no output to your TV screen
The
Playstation 3 will not turn on. The power LED will flash green,
yellow then red. This fault can happen while you're using your
console.
No
Picture
No picture
is displayed when your P33 is turned on. Noticeable damage to any of
the output connectors on the rear of the console which could cause a
loss of picture.
 
Not reading games or
drive problem
Your
Playstation 3 / PS3 Disc drive will not load games, DVD's or Blu-ray
discs.
Book your
console under this fault if you experience any or all of these
symptoms:
- The console will not boot
- Loss
of save data
- Black
screen at start-up
- Error
message concerning the HDD (Hard Disk Drive)
- Not
playing some games.
